Auxiliary Procedures Course

Completing the Auxiliary Procedures Course (APC), while required of those members seeking elected office, is also a worthwhile endeavor for all members, since the reference text is the Auxiliary Manual; a compendium of guidelines governing all aspects of Auxiliary behavior.  While this is not a "required" course, the Division Board has recommended that all Auxiliarists within Division 6 consider completing this course at their earliest opportunity.

Since the content of the APC cannot be covered in one session, this seminar will cover the basic points and provide general instructions for completing an open-book on line exam - which is required to complete this course.

A copy of the Auxiliary Manual  - the text for this course is available at:

ICS Information

All Auxiliarists who participate in surface operations, air operations, or watchstanding are required to have ICS 100 and 700.  In addition, if you are a coxswain, pilot, team leader, or participating in any Coast Guard Support Activity then ICS 200, 210 (no compliant date announced), and 800 are also required.  While these courses can be taken online (except 210).

Again, the ICS 100/200/700/800 Class is open to all Auxiliarists, whether or not that member plans to continue with the specific ICS Support Role Training.  So, if you are a new member, here is a great opportunity to complete the required ICS series in one day.
