 Welcome!

  Division 6 is the managing authority for eleven local Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotillas in    the Eighth District Coast Region of western LA and the Gulf Coast area of TX. The Division currently boasts approximately 240 members.

 We work closely with our active duty, reserve and civilian colleagues from U.S. Coast  Guard District 8, U.S.C.G. Sector Houston - Galveston, Station Galveston, Station Freeport, Station Sabine, Air Station Houston, Marine Safety Unit Galveston, Marine Safety Unit Port Arthur, Marine Safety Unit and Lake Charles,  to educate the public about boating safely, protect the environment, and keep the region's waterways safe & secure.
